Benjamin Norton Davies of Delran passed away peacefully on Feb 24 ^th , he was 79.

Ben served proudly in the U.S. Army for 20yrs, retiring as a Lt. Col.  While in the service, he was a helicopter pilot, logging over 1,000 combat flight hours and more than 3,000hrs total.  Ben was designated a Master Army Aviator and was a Standardization Instructor Pilot.  Following his retirement from Haas Corp., Ben was an avid golfer and was a member of Laurel Creek CC.

Ben was preceded in death by his wife, Judith (nee Norwood), he is survived by his wife, Susan (nee Ostergard), children, Benjamin N. of Spenser, MA, Katherine (Kevin) Grugan of Havertown, PA, step-children, Matthew Erikson of Los Angeles, CA, Brock Erikson of Sutton, MA, grandchildren, Jack, Hope and Erin Grugan.  Ben is the brother of the late, James Clinton, Barbara Ramsdell of Southborough, MA and Eleanor Bowden of Southport, ME.

A visitation for Ben will be held on Friday, March 18 ^th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad St., Riverton, NJ 08077.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 19 ^th at 11:00am at Trinity Episcopal Church, 207 W. Main St., Moorestown, NJ 08057.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Blvd., Voorhees, NJ 08043.
