Betty B Nisula (nee Bielenberg)

Died peacefully on Jan 22, 2020 at The Evergreens, Moorestown, NJ.  She was 96 years old.  She previously resided in Cinnaminson, NJ

She was born in Davenport, Iowa on June 12, 1923 and was a graduate of Iowa State University.  She was formerly employed as administrative assistant at Sanamar, Inc. of Mt Laurel, NJ, the family owned business.

Betty was a long-time member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Palmyra, NJ, where she was involved in many church activities.

She enjoyed summers with her family at her Long Beach Island home and was an avid reader, who also enjoyed crossword puzzles, needlework, golf and bowling.

She and her husband enjoyed extensive travels to various parts of the world.

Betty had a keen appreciation of nature and particularly loved cardinals, the mascot of Iowa State.

Predeceased by her husband, Chester Nisula and son, Eric, and brothers Robert and Arthur Bielenberg.

Survived by her children Richard Nisula (Jacqueline) of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and Frederick Nisula (Michele) of Medford, NJ

Also surviving are four grandchildren, Lauren Fanti, Megan Angermann, Kirsten Nisula, and Kelsey Nisula

and five great grandchildren.

Memorial service Feb, 8 at Bethany Lutheran Church, 617 Morgan Avenue, Palmyra, NJ at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive relatives and friends at 10:30 A.M..

The family requests no flowers.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charities of choice.
