Beverly Jay
Yeager
Aug 5, 1941 — May 13, 2025
Beverly Jay Yeager, age 83, of Princeton, NJ, and formerly a longtime resident of Delanco, NJ, passed peacefully on May 13, 2025.
Bev was born to the late Victoria and David Jay Seitz in Cornwells Heights, PA where she also grew up. She met her future husband, Albert Charles Yeager, Jr., while they were both working for Shop-N-Bag in Levittown, PA. They married in 1960 and were always together. Bev and Al moved to Delanco, NJ in 1975 with their children, David and Denise, and became active in their community, including helping to establish the Rams Booster Club at Riverside High School.
In 1982 Bev and Al purchased a deli on Main St. in Riverton, NJ that they named, D & D Deli, after their children. For 20 years, D&D Deli was their whole life and Bev dedicated all of her time to the store. She became a fixture in town, making many friends that were like family, and the deli became well known for their high-quality offerings.
Following their retirement from the deli, Bev and Al moved to Delaware where they lived for ten years until Al's passing. During their retirement they enjoyed spending time at the casinos and travelling to places like Italy, Austria, Germany, France, St. Maarten, Turks and Caicos, St. John and St. Bart among others. After Al passed in 2012, Bev moved back to Burlington County, NJ and ultimately to Princeton, NJ where she lived for the past several years.
Bev was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52-years, Albert Charles Yeager, Jr., and is survived by her son, David Charles Yeager, her daughter, Denise Jay Noe and her husband Bruce, and by her grandchildren, Brandon Charles Noe (wife, Kelly) and Emily Victoria Noe. Bev is also survived by her extended family members and many dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, followed by her celebration of life memorial service at 10:00 AM, all at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077.
