Carol Ann Atzert (nee Mortland) of Palmyra, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2022. She was 60-years old.

Carol is survived by; her husband of 39 ½ years, Kenneth Atzert; her children, Kimberly (Brian) Bowes, Lauren (Zack) Rosica, and Kenny (Danielle) Atzert; her grandchildren, Brayden, Natalie, Sydney, Theodore, Corbin and Remy. She is also survived by; her father, William Mortland (Ginny); her step-mother, Cathie Reinhard; her uncle, Harry Bowman; cousins, Jimmy, Tiffanie, Janeen & Jessica; as well as many lifelong friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved Mother and Grandmother, Caroline Mortland and Josephine Bowman.

Carol was a "Jill of all trades". She worked as a florist for over 20-years and also as a landscaper. She loved flowers and gardening and had a knack for creating beautiful things. Carol was also a girl scout troop leader, was a concession stand extraordinaire, a cheerleader for all of her children's activities through the years and the neighborhood "mom". She had the biggest heart and would always welcome you with open arms.

Most importantly though, Carol was a wife, mother and the best Mommom around! Her grandbabies were her world and she loved each one beyond measure. To say she will be missed is an understatement.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, January 14, 2022 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM with a Celebration of Life and Remembrance Service at 3:00 PM all at the WEBER FUNERAL HOME, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077.
