Charlotte Ann McAlack (née Frett) is Home Safe.  She closed her eyes here on earth and opened them to the glory of the presence of Jesus Christ on Friday, August 10 at the age of 82.

Charlotte was married to the love of her life, John, for 64 years.  She was blessed with six children, Charlotte, John, Matthew, Elinor, Mary Ann, and Faith.  Charlotte also was Grandmom to 17 and great Grandmom to 13.

Charlotte was a stay-at-home mom extraordinaire.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and often hosted birthday parties, family dinners, and holiday get-togethers.   Charlotte was a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother.  The Easter Treasure Hunt was something she planned for an entire year and was a highlight for all the "grands."  Presents, wrapped in white, covering the entire front lawn turned the heads of passers-by.

Charlotte loved yard sales and discovered many bargains, but her greatest treasures were the many friends she met on her adventures.  Charlotte was also a very skilled and prolific crocheter.  She crocheted many things through the years, but is best known for her crocheted holiday pins which she shared with family members, store workers, hospital personnel, and many others.  Rumor has it that one of those pins was seen being worn by a news anchor on TV.

Charlotte loved children and often spent her time babysitting for family members or church groups. Charlotte had a gentle and peaceful spirit and she was loved by everyone who knew her.  Her faith in Jesus Christ was very real and very strong.   She was a light to everyone around her, pointing to her Savior, Jesus.  She will be dearly missed and is a model for all of us.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Calvary Church, 317 Conrow Rd.,  Delran, NJ. 08075.   Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m.   Internment will be at Arlington Cemetery in Pennsauken, NJ.
