Cheryl Winterberg
Robinson
d. Dec 1, 2021
Cheryl Winterberg Robinson of Clearwater, Florida, formerly of Cinnaminson, New Jersey, went home to be with her Lord on December 1, 2021 at the age of 71.
Cheryl's greatest joys were serving the Lord through music and spending time with her family and friends. She earned a Bachelor's in Music Education and a Master's Degree in Organ Performance from Temple University. Cheryl made good use of her talents throughout her long musical career as a choir director, organist, and accompanist for the former Fellowship Church of Philadelphia, Cinnaminson Public Schools, Sandy Cove Ministries in North East, Maryland, the Cinnaminson Baptist Church, and Keswick Christian School in St. Petersburg, Florida. In addition, she enjoyed arranging music for and performing with her husband and children as the Robinson family brass ensemble.
Both Cheryl and her husband, Paul, were blessed to have grown up in loving, Christian families, and they in turn created a wonderful home filled with care and laughter. She deeply loved her family and many dear friends, spending time with her grandchildren, sharing the beauty of her river-front cabin in Elkton, Maryland, traveling with her husband in their later years, and their golden retriever, Casey. Above all else, her family is eternally grateful for the example Mom and Dad set for them by trusting Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord and serving him faithfully throughout their lives.
Cheryl was preceded into the presence of the Lord by her loving husband of 48 years, Paul, her parents, William (Bill) and Elizabeth Winterberg, as well as her two older sisters, Elizabeth Scott and Marilyn McGraw. She is survived by her sons, Daniel Paul (Janmarie) Robinson of Buffalo, NY; David William (Carly Dennis) Robinson of Rochester, NY; her daughter, Elizabeth Robinson (Joseph) Steele of Clearwater, FL; and her five beloved grandchildren, Matthew Paul Steele, Harris Charles Robinson, Lydia Marilyn Faith Robinson, Michael Joseph Steele and Dennis Alexander Robinson.
Due to current social distancing guidelines, a private memorial service for Cheryl will be held at the Cinnaminson Baptist Church and interment will take place at Forest Hills Cemetery, Huntingdon Valley, PA.
