It is with hearts full of sorrow and a lifetime of love and gratitude that we share the passing of our beautiful, amazing mother.
Our mother, Clare Kirk, was one of the most remarkable women we have ever known. She was always there for us, through the good times and the difficult ones, offering her love, support, and understanding without judgment. No matter what life brought our way, we knew we could always count on her. Her love was a safe place, a comfort, and a blessing that we will carry with us forever.
She was the proud mother of twelve beautiful, remarkable children, and her love for her family was a testament to the incredible woman she was. She lived her life grounded in her faith in God, and that faith was reflected in the way she treated others. She had a heart for people, always willing to be there for those who needed her, offering kindness, compassion, and love without expecting anything in return.
Our mother taught us that the greatest gifts in life are faith, family, kindness, and being there for one another. Her strength, her unwavering faith, her generous heart, and her unconditional love have left a legacy that will live on through her children, her family, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
She will live forever in our hearts.
Clare is reunited in heaven with her daughters, Mary Louise Nowlan and Ruth Anne Nowlan, her father and mother, Joseph and Julia Kirk, grandson Everett Dunlap, Jr., spouse John Nowlan, and many other family and friends.
Her legacy lives on with her children Terri Scimeca (George), Kirk Nowlan (Beth Ann), Christopher Nowlan, Julianne Reed (Douglas), Andrew Nowlan, Aimee Dunlap (Everett, Sr.), Patrick Nowlan (Dee), Jonathan Nowlan, Giles Nowlan (Elisabeth), and Beth Anne Haseley (Jeffrey).
Grandchildren: Anna, Oscar, Amanda, Julia, Jared, Gerardo, Kay, Stephanie, Joseph, Jack, Hanna, Maria, Matthew, Gracia, Charlena, Callia, Nowlan, Clare, and Evan
Great-grandchildren: Sylena, Aidan, Bella, Zachary, Anthony, and Katherine
as well as her siblings, a multitude of nieces and nephews, and all of those who she touched along the way.
Please join us to celebrate her life:
