David A. Dallman, Sr. of Delran passed away peacefully on Sept. 17th, he was 83.

David was born in Riverside, NJ to the late Charles and Alice Dallman.  He was the owner of Dallman's Studio in Riverside and worked many years as a photographer traveling around the United States for RCA and Lockheed Martin.

David was a boat enthusiast, taking pride in attaining his captain's license and enjoyed spending time at his home in Tuckerton. He could often be found restoring his 1929 Ford Pickup, winning several antique car show awards. David was known for his light-hearted humor, intelligence and expertise in an array of trades such as fishing, building custom rods and stained glass making. He was an avid horticulturist at the family garden center finding special enjoyment in vegetable planting and seeding. David cherished time with his family and friends, taking the grandkids on several trips to Disney World and his best companions, Ripley (Rip) and Whiskers always by his side.

David was preceded in death by his son, Daren A.  He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, JoAnn (nee McCarter), sons, Ronald, and David Jr., and grandchildren, Chelsie, Kelly and David III.

A graveside service for David will be held on Saturday, September 28th at 11:00 am at Lakeview Memorial Park, 1300 Rt. 130N, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077.
