David George Reader, III, "Cubby", age 65, of Mount Laurel, NJ passed suddenly on April 15, 2023.

David, known to everyone as "Cubby", was born in Riverside, NJ to the late Frances (nee Sacchetti) and David George Reader, II. He grew up in Palmyra, NJ, was a graduate of Palmyra High School and had been a resident of Mount Laurel, NJ for the past 15+ years. Cubby started his on construction contracting business, DGR Construction, over 35-years ago and was well known for his carpentry skills, successfully completing many projects in the South Jersey area.

Cubby loved to be outdoors, especially fishing for all types of fish whether in the ocean, the bay, in lakes and along the banks of the Delaware River. He was an avid and loyal Philadelphia Sports Fan, always rooting for his Phillies and Eagles. Well liked by all who knew him, Cubby was well known for his musical abilities as a bass guitar player, and he performed in several popular bands since his high school days to the present. He also enjoyed spending his time riding his motorcycle, but most of all he loved being with his friends, family and adored his grandchildren.

Cubby is survived by; his beloved children, Michelle "Shellie" Reader and her fiancé Austin McGuire of Largo, FL, Jessica Fink and her husband Eric Anthony of Medford, NJ, and Aaron Fink of Medford, NJ; and by his dear grandchildren, Adelina Joelle Reader-McGuire, Meadow Anthony, Parker Anthony, Colton Anthony and Tobias Fink. He is also survived by his sisters, Karen and her husband Daniel Howard of Riverton, NJ, Francine and late husband Tom Ritchie of Riverton, NJ, and Lori and her husband Jeffrey Hayes of Virginia, as well as uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM followed by his Memorial Service at 11:00 AM all at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077.  Services will be live-streamed via the following link:
