Diane E. Dreby (Stinnett) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the age of 69 with her family by her side.
Diane Dreby, born June 22, 1955 in Riverside, New Jersey and lived in Florida before moving with her family back to Palmyra, NJ at the age of 8, where she resided for the past 61 years. Throughout her life, Diane held various jobs, including administrative roles at Callahan Chemical, Savings & Loan Bank, O&S Research, Palmyra Pharmacy, Palmyra School District, Beverly City School District, and The Mail Place. She also served as a crossing guard at Charles Street School and actively volunteered with Bethany Lutheran Church, the Palmyra Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary (where she was a Life member and past President), and the Palmyra Parent Teacher Association.
Most importantly, Diane cherished raising her two daughters and caring for her 5 grandsons for several years.
Diane was the loving and devoted wife to Richard Dreby for 47 years, during which they enjoyed their time together on their boat, visiting various marinas for the last 30 years. Diane was also known for her exceptional skill as a seamstress and had a love/hate relationship with golf. She enjoyed watching her daughters and later her grandsons in their sports and activities. Diane was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and family. Diane also had a fondness for Long Beach Island and New England Clam Chowder soup from the Gateway.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elaine Stinnett, and her parents-in-law, Howard and Virginia Dreby.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Dreby; her daughters, Heather Dunlap (Brian) and Dana Kerrihard (Tim); her grandchildren, Cantlin, Shane, and Brody Dunlap, Nathan and Logan Collins, Sydney and Tommy Kerrihard; and her sisters, Terri Misiewicz (Ken) and Lori Stinnett. She was also a loving sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 9am to 11am on Wednesday, July 10th, and to attend her Memorial Service at 11am both at Bethany Lutheran Church in Palmyra, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making remembrances in Diane's name to the Palmyra Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary at 115 W. Broad St or Bethany Lutheran Church 617 Morgan Ave in Palmyra, NJ.
