Diane M. Sacalis, of Mt. Laurel, age 86, passed away peacefully at home on July 7, 2020. Wife of the late Nicholas Sacalis, she is survived by her children George (Donna) of Townsend, DE, Steven of Mt. Laurel, Mary Sacalis of Mt. Laurel, and Elaine Gauntt (the late John) of Mt. Laurel, and the grandmother of Jennifer Greene (Brian), Michele Palladino (William), Kimberly Sacalis (Andrew), Blair Troiano (Ryan), Clifford Sacalis (Michelle) and the late Amanda Sacalis. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Reese Troiano, Whitney and Collin Greene, Charlotte and Wilson Palladino and Ashton Chromchak, and many nieces and nephews and "adopted" children. Diane is the sister of William Molas (Pat) and the late Harry Molas.
As a long time resident of Delanco, NJ she worked along side her husband and Brother and Sister in law at Chasnick's Diner and later at Chasnick's Liquors. She also worked as secretary and bookkeeper at Dynamic Blending and served as the advisor to the St. Thomas G.O.Y.A.. She also enjoyed hosting many dinners and picnics for friends and family alike.
Relatives and friends are invited on Tuesday 10 am – Noon at St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church 615 Mercer St, Cherry Hill. The funeral service will follow at Noon. PLEASE NOTE: Per the requirements of Saint Thomas Greek Orthodox Church all attending are required to register prior to arriving at the church by completing the form available at https://stthomas.breezechms.com/form/118848109857 Face coverings or face masks are mandatory and must be worn at all times. A church member will check in all attendees against the completed registrations and take each person's temperature. Interment at Lakeview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Angelic hospice 8025 Black Horse Pike, Suite 501, West Atlantic City, NJ 08232.
