Dolores M. Cawley (nee Blackmore), 87, of Riverton, NJ died peacefully at Riverview Estates on March 13, 2020.

Dolores was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 24, 1933 to J. Arthur and Katherine Purvis Blackmore.  Dolores lived nearly her entire life in Philadelphia, and she was a true city girl at heart. She excelled at bookkeeping and organization.

Throughout her life, Dolores was an active volunteer. When her children were young, she volunteered in the elementary school library, as a treasurer for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, and as a troop leader for Catholic Daughters of America. Later in life, Dolores was a member of several social clubs, including the Holy Innocents Parish Young in Spirit Club where she served as treasurer, and Juniata Park Older Adult Center.

In her spare time, Dolores was an avid reader and pinochle player.

Dolores is survived by her son John (Kelly) of Philadelphia, PA; daughter Lorraine (Mark) of Riverton, NJ; daughter Joanne (Greg) of Port Matilda, PA; her beloved grandchildren Charlotte, Jack, Rebecca, and Andrew; her sister Joan (Don) of Mesa, AZ; her sister-in-law Tootsie of Philadelphia, PA; beloved nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack, sister Catherine, and brother Arthur.

The family wishes to thank all of the caregivers, staff, and nurses at Riverview Estates of Riverton NJ.
