Don was born in 1947 to Catherine (nee' Snyder) and James M. Letton, Jr. in Philadelphia, PA where they lived until relocating to Lancaster, PA for several years. Don's family moved to Cinnaminson, NJ in 1960 and he graduated from Palmyra High School in the Class of 1966. He also worked in automobile sales for Ted Rapp Pontiac and Dakis Oldsmobile before settling into his career in Pressure Washer Equipment and Chemical supplies, working for CHEMEX before establishing his own business, PWR in Delanco.
Don was an excellent problem solver and very handy, so following his retirement from PWR he continued to work as a handyman, taking on a variety of construction and home improvement projects. He was always a hard worker and took great care of his family.
Don also enjoyed the outdoors and for many years was a Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America. With the Boy Scouts he proudly mentored many young men teaching them all about outdoor life, camping, fishing, hunting and various survival skills. Don was an avid duck hunter and fisherman, enjoyed working on cars, watching Formula 1 and IndyCar racing, tending to his garden and home, and was also a great cook.
Donald is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Jean Letton (nee' DiVincenzo) and their daughters, Jessica (Michael), Jaclyn (Brian) and Deborah E., grandsons, Eli, Gus, Miles and Rory, and granddaughters, MyKayla, Carly and Sophia. Don is also survived by his father, James M. Letton, Jr., his sister, Doreen Dever, brother-in-law, Joseph DiVincenzo, and sister-in-law, Marie Letton along with many loving nieces, nephews and their families.
