DONALD E. SCHWERING PASSED AWAY AT THE AGE OF 92 ON AUGUST 19, 2026.

He lived a multi-tasking life, graduating from college in 1952, joining the Air Force from 1953 to 1957 as a Russian weather observer, working as a toy, tape deck designer, and car wash for Sherman Car Wash, Inductotherm, J. Chein, and a Pennsauken tape deck company. In 1973 he started his own company, Schwering Security, installing burglar alarms.

His hobbies of model boat racing, wood carving, modeling clay and sailing his Hobie catamaran were his greatest joys besides trailering to Florida and California with his wife and pet kitties.

Don leaves a loving family of a wife of 55 years, Doris Stow Schwering, a brother and sister-in-law Richard and Joan Schwering, a niece Linda (Mark Siemietkowski), a nephew Steven (Susanne Schwering), in laws Scott and Karen Stow, Nancy and predeceased Calvin Stow and a long time friend and pal Henry Hathaway plus many other awesome great nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Don will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 15th from 10:00am to 11:00am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00am, both at Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad St., Riverton, NJ 08077.  Interment will be held privately.
