Donald A. Stevens of Edgewater Park, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 29th, 2023, he was 88.

Don was born and raised in Westmont, NJ to the late, Harry and Dorothy Stevens.  Growing up, he was a competitive swimmer at the YMCA, holding several records. He bred and raised prize winning guppies as President of the South Jersey Tropical Fish Club. Don also ran the Shifters Hot Rod Club in Haddon Twp.

He served 8 years in the Navy Reserve and enjoyed a 50+ year career as a machinist & owner of Aerotec Precision.  Don was a former member of the American Legion. He was the director of both the Challengers Drum & Bugle Corps and the Challengers Color Guard, winning many awards.  He enjoyed fishing, restoring old cars and his antique car collection which spanned many years and over 50 vehicles. Don spent his life working with his hands. He also had a love for dirty limericks.  But Donald's greatest achievement was his children and their accomplishments. He was their biggest fan!

Donald is survived by his wife, Betty Ann (nee Shrack); his children, Donald Michael (Bonnie), Lisa Ann Leitmeyer (Joe), Matthew D. (Christine), Kelly Ann Alvarez, Kenneth W. Spencer; grandchildren, Trista, Delylah, Nicholas, Ian, Wayne Jr., Joshua, Andrew, Amanda, Adam, Brianna, Brynn, Bridie (Matthias), Jadon, Ava; great-granddaughter, Kaylee; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and his collie, Molly. Don is preceded in death by his son,  Wayne Arthur and his granddaughter, Chelsea Lauren.

A visitation for Donald will be held on Monday, August 7th, 2023 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, with a Celebration of Life beginning at approximately 8:15pm, all at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Donald's name may be made to Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter at www.friendsofbcas.org
