Donna Marion Whitney, age 81, of Palmyra, NJ passed peacefully at her home with her beloved daughter by her side on August 8, 2023.

Donna was born in Mt. Holly, NJ to the late Alma (nee Gorwood) and Francis Whitney. She grew up in Edgewater Park and Beverly, NJ, spending much of her time with her family at the Shipman Mansion, Red Dragon Canoe Club where her parents were the caretakers for many years. She spent her career working for the Cozen O'Connor Lawfirm in Cherry Hill. Donna was a longtime active member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, Riverton where she served as a Deacon for many years. She was very involved at the church and most enjoyed assisting with all of the activities there and serving her fellow members.

Donna was very family oriented. Her daughter, Danielle, meant the World to her, and Danielle felt the same for her mom. Donna focused on maintaining a strong sense of family that extended to her many close friends and she thoroughly enjoyed her regular lunches and outings with them all, many who affectionately called her "Audrey Hepburn". She had a kind and giving heart, she enjoyed gardening, antiques and collecting dolls. Donna also had a strong love for animals, especially her cats.

Donna was predeceased by her parents, Alma and Francis Whitney, and by her dear brother, Van Whitney. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Danielle D. Giano, her nephew, David Whitney and his wife, Lauren, and by her great-niece and great-nephew. Donna is also survived by her closest friends, whom she considered family, including Gerry Kozempel, Caroline DeSimone, Maria Sammartino, Alyx Reinhardt and Carol & Larry Sanders.

Friends and loved ones are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 7:00 PM at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 4th Street & Lippincott Avenue, Riverton, NJ 08077.
