Dorothy C. Armstrong, age 89, of Delanco, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Danville, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy Cantner. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William (Bill) Armstrong.

Dorothy is survived by her two daughters, Linda Zuber of Medford and Barbara (Rich) Ambrose of Delran; her grandchildren, Kevin Ambrose, Elizabeth (Brandon Sax) Ambrose, and Richard (Jackie) Ambrose; and her two great-grandchildren, Emily and Aiden Ambrose-Sax.

Dorothy was a graduate of Palmyra High School, Class of 1953. She went on to enjoy a 40-year career as a secretary at Hoeganaes Corporation in Riverton. She also co-owned Delanco Market with her husband for over 20 years.

Dorothy and Bill shared a love of travel and created many cherished memories exploring Europe, Hawaii, and destinations across the United States, including more than 30 cruises together.

She had a passion for needlework for over 40 years, especially counted cross-stitch. In her retirement, Dorothy remained active with the Delanco Senior Citizens, where she enjoyed planning and participating in many bus trips.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 1st, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., all at Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson, NJ.
