Dorothy K. Wentworth, of Delran, NJ. Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, born January 4, 1922 to Clara (nee Voland) and Winfred Boone Krimmel of Philadelphia passed away on December 13, 2018. Dorothy is survived by her; children, Christina Adryan (nee Harlander), Dorothea Daraio (nee Harlander), and Mariea Kautter (nee Harlander); sons-in-law, Martin Adryan and Richard Kautter; grandchildren, Anna Mazzacano (Tom), John Adryan, Sean Halligan, Corey Halligan (Grace), Tony Daraio, John Daraio, Cheryl Burke (Chris), Larry Welsh, Chrissy Hubbard; great-grandchildren Aidyn Moore-Adryan, Carley Burke, Nicholas Daraio, Jenna Daraio, Christian Storey, Hunter Mazzacano, Lucas Mazzacano, Norah Mazzacano, Christian Welsh, Lorianna Welsh; step-children Elizabeth Klipple (nee Wentworth), Susan Wilson (nee Wentworth) and Dorothy Woods (nee Wentworth) and many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
A graduate of The University of Pennsylvania and Rutgers University, Dorothy was a school teacher in the Cherry Hill School District for 25 years. She was an active member of Palmyra Moravian Church and formerly a volunteer for FISH, ACTION, and Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry. An avid gardener, reader, and crossword puzzle solver, Dorothy lived her life with a servant's heart and will be missed by family, friends and many in the local community.
A viewing will be held at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ on Friday evening, December 21, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturday morning, December 22, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Services will follow at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Palmyra Moravian Church, the Salvation Army or Moravian Open Door. Condolences may be shared at www.weberfuneralhomeinc.com
