Edward Russell Lucas, "Russ", passed away on October 3, 2018. He was born in Hainesport, N.J., and graduated from Burlington City High School.

Russ served in the US Navy from 1951-1955 and attended the University of New Mexico. Russ was supervisor at RCA in Camden and later worked for the County of Burlington. He was President of the Delran PACC (Polish American Civic Club). Russ was very active in the Riverside Seniors.

Beloved son of the late Maurice Lucas and Esther Fallon Lucas. Preceded in death by his brothers and sisters: Virginia Lucas, Maurice Lucas, John Lucas, Sissy Poehls, Gloria Rapagna, Marie Fry, Fred Lucas and James Lucas. Survived by his brothers and sisters: Woody Lucas, Robert Lucas, Richard Lucas, Barbara Farace, Janet Curran and Katherine Dever and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with family on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 9:45am until the Mass at 11am at Sacred Heart Church, Fourth St. and Linden Ave, Riverton, NJ 08077. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.
