Edward Tracey, 53, of Riverside, New Jersey, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019, surrounded by family and friends.

Ed is survived by the love of his life of 18 years, Ann; along with six children, Melissa, Jade (Alex), Alex (Jordan), Joey, Celeste (his Shortstop), and Enzo; one granddaughter, Kayla; sisters, Janice (Tommy) and Keri (Julian); his in-laws, John and Gaytana Balestrieri, Jean (Bill), Beth, John (Aundrea), and Paul; as well as many nieces and nephews; and one great niece, Liana (His Half Pint). Ed was a loving husband, father, grandfather, godfather, and friend to everyone.

Ed was known for his love of coaching kids in both baseball and ice hockey. He believed in starting with the little kids and keeping their programs strong. Ed was the tee-ball commissioner then later became the vice president for RYAA. He began coaching ice hockey for the Igloo Jaguars; starting with the in-house mite team, then moved on to the in-house squirts, peewees, and bantam teams. Teaching and coaching kids to play hockey was his life. Ed loved and accepted every kid and family as his own. Ed had a personality that brought all of the neighborhood together. He was never one to turn down a beer or a party. There were always neighbors and kids running in and out of the house. Everyone Ed met became his family and loved him.

Visitation will take on Monday, December 23, 2019, from 9:30am-10:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am all at Corpus Christi Church (11 S. Sunset Road, Willingboro, NJ 08046). The family is asking those attending to wear sports apparel, as Ed would have wanted.
