Elijah Myers, age 89, of Cinnaminson, NJ, departed this life on February 11, 2025 surrounded by his family.

Elijah was born June 13, 1935, in South Carolina and moved to Philadelphia, PA in 1956 with his family. He then lived in Palmyra, NJ for many years before moving to Cinnaminson, NJ thirty-one years ago.

Elijah was a skilled operator of construction equipment and proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 542, working for The City of Philadelphia for over 25 years until his retirement.

He loved his "toys", including his collection of Hess Trucks and his real trucks, especially his pickup with the loud Hemi engine. He also enjoyed his ATV's and listening to, and talking on, his CB Radio that he had at home. Elijah was very handy and enjoyed working on repair and improvement projects for his family and friends. He enjoyed listening to jazz and watching any cowboy or western movie, but most of all Elijah was devoted to taking care of his family.

Elijah was preceded in death by his mother, Cora Lee Shuler-Myers, his wife Diana L. "Cheri" Myers, and son, Robert Myers. Left to cherish Elijah's memory are his children, Doris Ann Myers, Elijah Myers, Jr., James Myers (Brenda Chapman), Willy Myers, Tamara M. Houston, Angela L. Brantley (Francis L. Brantley) and LaToya R. Houston, as well as his sisters, Loula Mae Myers-Alston and Geraldine Fagan. He also leaves behind his 34 grandchildren & great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Family and friends are invited to attend his Viewing on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, all at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077.
