Obituary

Elizabeth Ballou Lippincott, age 71, of Riverton, NJ passed on September 3, 2022 following a courageous battle with cancer.

Beth was a lifelong resident of Riverton.  She attended Riverton Elementary, was a 1969 graduate of Moorestown High School and attended Georgia Southern College.  She was a longtime active member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, Riverton and involved in their Bell Choir. She was a proud flight attendant for Continental/United Airlines for many years before her retirement in August of 2022.  Beth was incredibly talented - from knitting, to sewing, to designing jewelry - her creations were loved by all. She was extremely generous and loved sharing her creativity with others.  She adored her children and grandchildren and loved making things for them including family Christmas pjs.  Beth and Nick loved traveling. They enjoyed visiting friends around the country and international travel, including their yearly visits to see Nick's family in Greece.  Beth was a lifelong member of Riverton Yacht Club and enjoyed volunteering her time and talents for the club. When not in Riverton or traveling, Beth could often be found on Maryland's Eastern Shore visiting extended family and friends or enjoying time at Tred Avon Yacht Club. She loved her time on the water, especially sailing.

Beth is survived by; her beloved husband of 25 years, Nicholas Mortgu; her loving children, Amy Maute and her husband Greg, Ryan Lippincott and his wife Anne; Nick's daughters, Susan Mortgu, and Tara Weber and her husband Tom; her cherished grandchildren, Cole Maute, Brett Maute, Ava Lippincott, Dean Maute, Ben Lippincott, Kate Lippincott, and Jane Lippincott. She is also survived by; her siblings, Steve and Lynn Lippincott, Ann Dunlap, Skip and Linda Lippincott, Carol and Chuck Traetto, and Tom and Melinda Lippincott; and by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and their families along with many extended family and friends, including her church, sailing, and airline friends.
