Elizabeth Jane (nee Atherholt) Sterner, age 87, of Maple Shade, passed away April 11, 2021.  She was predeceased by her husband, William, and her daughter, Sandra Wells.  She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Park (Richard), of Riverton; sons, William A. Sterner, of Beach Haven, PA; and John J. Sterner (Jacqui) of Florida;  her son in law, Steve Wells, of Cinnaminson and dear friend Terry Park.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amy; Daniel; Colleen; and John; and her great-grandchildren, Harper; Casey; and Leo.

Elizabeth was extremely proud of her nursing career.  Having graduated from the nursing school at Wilkes Barre General Hospital in 1954, she continued working in the field until 2003.  Her other proud accomplishment was raising her family.  Her childhood days in West Pittston, PA, but she raised her family in Willingboro, NJ.
