Ellen Carol Nutt of Delran, who grew up in Beverly and Burlington, passed away peacefully on December 3rd after battling colon cancer. She was 71.

Ellen was born in Mt. Holly, NJ to the late Albert and Anna Buser, the youngest of her five siblings, Albert "Boots" Buser, Don Buser, Barbara Gilbert, Gary Buser, and Wayne Buser.

Before opening Bills Bargains furniture store in Mt. Holly with her husband Bill nearly 50 years ago, Ellen worked a variety of jobs including at The Herald newspaper and Grant's department store.

She enjoyed cooking and eating delicious food, visiting the NJ Shore, reading, and doing word search puzzles. Ellen loved animals and nearly all of her pets over the years were rescued, including her current beloved pets, dogs, Riley and Rita, cat Mable "Kitty", and rabbit, Benjamin Bunny. Ellen had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh that family and friends will never forget.

Ellen is survived by her loving husband, Bill, devoted daughters, Jamie and Danielle, grandchildren, Ethan and Lilly, siblings, Barbara Gilbert and Don Buser, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A viewing for Ellen will be held on Friday, December 9th from 10:00am to 12:00pm, followed by a funeral service at 12:00pm, all at Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad St., Riverton, NJ 08077.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
