Elmer R. Bostock of Palmyra passed away on September 11th, 2018. He was 94.
Elmer was born and raised in Philadelphia and went to serve proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII in the Pacific Theater, receiving an honorable discharge in 1946. He was a member of the South Jersey Marine Corps League, South Jersey Locksmith Association, and Palmyra Seniors. He loved fishing, woodworking and camping.
Elmer was preceded in death by his wife June. He is survived by his son, Robert A. (Cheryl) of Palmyra, grandchildren, Christopher (Taylor) and Matthew (Kristin Kent), sister, Delores Newman and dear friend, Sylvia Toye. He was predeceased by his brother Harry who died in Sicily in WWII.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00am to 10:45am, with a funeral service at 11:00am on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 at Christ Episcopal Church, 305 Main Street, Riverton, NJ 08077. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorial contributions in Elmer's memory may be made to Christ Episcopal Church Endowment Fund or the American Cancer Society.
