Emily Marie Barrett, age 77, of Delanco, NJ passed peacefully at her home on October 5, 2024.

Emily was born on November 11, 1946, to the late Marie and Wilbur Denning. She grew up in Riverside, NJ, graduating from Riverside High School, and remained a lifelong resident.

Emily retired from the warehouse and distribution center for Simon & Schuster Publishing, formerly MacMillan Publishers, in Delran after 30 years of service to the company.

She enjoyed playing bingo and hosting Tupperware and Home Interior parties with her friends. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Emily was predeceased by her beloved husband, James Barrett, and her sons, Brian Barrett and Mark Barrett. Emily is survived by her loving children, Kathi Taylor, James Barrett, Jr. (Jennifer Orr), and Kevin Barrett (Mary Flannery), along with her dear grandchildren, Jessica Pischke, Ryan Taylor, Kendall Best and Kaitlyn Barrett-Forman, as well as her beloved great-grandchildren, Ryan Taylor II, James Wernersbach, Weston Taylor, Carmelo Best, Madilynn Best, Steel Pischke, Aubree Pischke and Lincoln Barrett-Forman. She is also survived by her sisters, Alberta Corigliano (Matt), Karen Kenny, and Patricia Haines (the late, Dave), along with several nieces, nephews and extended family.

A memorial visitation with her family will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, followed by a memorial service at 6:30 PM, all at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077
