Frances J Abshire, 76 of Palmyra NJ passed away suddenly on December 13, 2019 surrounded by family.

Beloved wife of Roger Abshire, they were the love of each other's life. An incredible, loving Mother and friend to Dawn. Loving Mother to her twins Norman and Neil (preceded in death).

Second Mom to daughter in laws, Heather and Kim.

Best Mom- Mom in the world to Hilary, Norman, Jason, Thomas, Daniel, McKenzie and David.

She was loved dearly by her Ewing and Abshire families.

Fran had an enormous giving heart. She found extreme joy and comfort by helping and serving others.  She was grateful for everyone and everything around her.  She was happiest when surrounded by friends and family.

If you knew Fran, you were considered family. She welcomed everyone into her world and a place in her heart.  Fran was thoughtful, she showed kindness and love beyond belief.

Fran and Roger were soulmates for over 40 years. They were the yin to each other's yang. One of the things among many that Roger loved about her was her ability to profoundly touch every single person she came in contact with.

She had an incredible bond with her Daughter Dawn, they were best friends and shared a heart.

Fran was the rock of her family. She had a close and wonderful connection with every one of her Grandchildren.  She and Roger created traditions for them that will stay with them throughout their lives.

She was an American Mother and Grandmother to many Japanese families. She loved welcoming them into her life and allowing them to experience American family traditions during their stay in America.  They became her beloved family while they were here and after their return to Japan.

Those who loved Fran can join in celebrating her life on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at The Hall at the Harbour, 2000 Harbour Dr., Palmyra, NJ 08065  from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Followed by a service at Noon.

Should friends desire, contributions can be made to JDRF in lieu of flowers. This was a cause near and dear to Fran's heart.
