Francis J.
Dinote
Jun 2, 1929 — Apr 21, 2025
Francis J. DiNote, age 95, of Cinnaminson, NJ passed peacefully surrounded by his family on April 21, 2025.
Frank was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1929 to the late Pauline and Leonard DiNote. As an only child, Frank was blessed to have a large, close-knit extended family while growing up in his South Philly home on Tree Street. He was a graduate of Southeast Catholic High School and went on to proudly serve in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Frank was a skilled machinist who spent his career working for several area manufacturing companies, making everything from wrapping paper to Campbell's Soup and Budweiser Beer cans. He and his late wife, Dolores, moved to Cinnaminson, NJ in 1961 to raise their family and then after his retirement, lived for several years in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
Frank's "happy place" was their family home in Ocean City, NJ where he cherished his time with family and friends. He had a great love for music, especially Frank Sinatra and Big Band Music by Artie Shaw. Frank was an avid sports fan who enjoyed "talking sports", particularly baseball and horse racing, with others. He started each day with a cryptogram and a cup of coffee. Frank loved being with and supporting his family, especially his four beloved grandsons. He touched the lives of many and was an inspiration to all in a variety of ways.
In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dolores G. DiNote, and their son, Francis J. DiNote, Jr. He is survived by his loving children, Leonard DiNote and his wife Patti, and Paula DiNote, along with his dear grandsons, Christopher DiNote and his wife Chelsea, Matthew DiNote, Nicholas DiNote and Michael DiNote.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, April 28, 2025 for a visitation from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM, all at Sacred Heart Church, 4th Street & Linden Avenue, Riverton, NJ 08077. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Eden Autism Services, 2 Merwick Road, Princeton, NJ 08540 www.edenautism.org would be preferred. Remembrances and condolences may be shared with his family at www.weberfuneralhomeinc.com
