Frank P.
Salvino
d. Apr 6, 2019
Frank P. Salvino, age 86, formerly of Cinnaminson and Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 6, 2019.
Frank is survived by his son, Thomas V. (Michele), daughters, Deborah M. Crawford and Michele Barth (James W.) beloved grandson Matthew, sister Josephine Klapperich and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his beloved wife Barbara (Garcynski), daughter Donna Marie and brother Vincent F. Salvino.
Frank was a veteran of the US Air Force and a proud retiree of RCA in Camden (his family always had the best televisions and VCR's).
While the kids were growing up, Frank would pile the family into the station wagon for Sunday road trips down the shore and to the mountains. Frank and Barbara enjoyed playing pinochle and sharing stories with their close friends, Ernie and Theresa, Tom and Beth, Jack and Pat and Joe and Dot. Every Saturday night, he would scan the channels searching for Lawrence Welk reruns. Almost every Sunday night, dinner was a bowl of pasta and meatballs or a cookout on the grill. In later years, Frank delighted in his new title of "Pop-Pop" by playing with Matthew and teaching him how to get into mischief.
In retirement, Frank enjoyed a good game of bingo and he continued his road trip tradition of weekly jaunts down to the Jersey Shore.
Relatives and friends may greet the family at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077 on Wednesday evening April 10, 2019 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Thursday morning April 11, 2019 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am on Thursday April 11, 2019 at Sacred Heart Church, 4th St. and Linden Ave, Riverton, NJ 08077. Internment is immediately after at Lakeview Cemetery, Route 130, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077.
