Fred A. Schletter, of Lindenwold, NJ, passed on July 13, 2019. He was 88.

Born in Bristol, PA, Fred moved to Palmyra, NJ and was a Graduate of Palmyra High School, Class of 1948. He went on to proudly serve in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1953.

Fred had a strong work ethic and was proud of his first job as a boy delivering newspapers in Palmyra. He went on to join Inductotherm Corp. in Rancocas, NJ where he enjoyed a long career as the Sales Administrator for the company, retiring in 1992.

Upon retirement he lived in Belleair Bluffs, FL and Newport News, VA before returning to his current home in Lindenwold, New Jersey.

Fred was an avid Duck and Waterfowl Hunter and was a longtime active member and officer of Ducks Unlimited Burlington County Chapter. He also enjoyed fishing trips out of Long Beach Island and while living in Florida, and visits to the casinos in Atlantic City. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Fred was preceded in death by; his beloved wife of 54 year, Marylou J. Schletter, who passed in 2010; their son, Brian A. Schletter; and by grandsons, Timothy and Daniel Greco.

He is survived by: daughters, Terri Guillote of Rockdale, TX, Barbara Schletter of Lindenwold, NJ, Janice Brown (Robert) of Palmyra, NJ, and Sandy Daniels (Randy) of Clearwater, FL; grandchildren, Jennifer Greco, Robert Brown, Jr., Kristen Brown, Lauren Stephenson (Tommy) and Caitlyn Daniels; and by his great-granddaughter, Bria Greco. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Schletter (Sue) and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM, with visitation preceding from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, all at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077. Interment will follow immediately at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
