George J. Getz Sr. passed away peacefully at Barclays Rehabilitation & Healthcare in Cherry Hill. He was 81.

Born in Philadelphia, George was a resident of Delran since 1965. He was the owner of Getz Exterminators in Delran for over 50 years. George was an avid Philadelphia sports and NASCAR fan.

He was the beloved husband of the late Rita M. Getz; the loving father of George J. Jr. (companion, Joanne), Deborah Evans, Donna Fitzgerald (Richard), Gary D. Getz, Rita M. Smith (Albert Russell) and the late Gregory K. Getz; grandfather of Natasha Getz, Felicia Evans, Nicholas Evans, Rachael Mangini (Matthew), Chelsey Fitzgerald, Richard Fitzgerald III, Kasey Getz and Arthur John Smith; and great grandfather of Siobhan McClellan and Benjamin Mangini.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077, where his funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM.
