Georgette Gray of Hainesport passed away peacefully on Nov. 24th, she was 79.

Georgette was born in Riverside and raised in Palmyra to the late Remy and Kathryn Loreaux. Georgette started her career at Campbell's soup when she was just 18. She then went on to executive administrative positions at ADP, and most recently worked at Bishop Eustace Preparatory School as executive assistant to the Headmaster, Brother James Beamesderfer.

One of Georgette's passions was her 42yr membership in the Jersey Sound Chorus of Sweet Adelines.  With the Sweet Adelines, Georgette was very proud to sing tenor in a barbershop quartet, winning many awards and receiving praise and recognition wherever they performed, including Sweet Adeline of the Year. She cherished her time with the chorus and the many relationships and dear friends.

Georgette immensely enjoyed boating and the beach with her husband, Lee. Together, they spent their summers in Long Beach Island and enjoyed boating…small boats, large boats and everything in between.

Georgette was also an avid writer, having written poems and even a small book.  However, her most important passion was her family. Georgette is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Lee Gray, daughter, Jennifer Jones, son, Bryan (Kristie) Gray, grandchildren, John (Haley) Oldenbergh, William Jones, Jr., Kaitlyn Jones, Samuel Gray, Leighanna Gray, great-grandson, Levi Rhys Oldenbergh, sister, Eleanor (Godfrey) Gunderson, and her late brothers, Remey and Alan Loreaux.

A viewing for Georgette will be held on Wednesday, Nov 29th from 9:00am to 11:00am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am, all at Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad St., Riverton, NJ 08077.  Interment will follow at Jesus Bread of Life Cemetery, Mt. Laurel, NJ.
