Gerald "Jerry" Demont of Cherry Hill, formerly of Omaha, NE passed away peacefully on April 19th. He was 83.

Jerry was born in Omaha to Ira and Bertha (nee Avery).  He served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps, was a member of Promise Keepers and Gideons International.

Jerry enjoyed fishing and playing cards with friends.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Margaret (nee Reisdorff), daughters, Donna (Gary) Scott, Peggy Demont, son, John Demont, grandchildren, Timothy (Shannon) Malloy, Meghan (Brad) Vassallo, Ashley (Eric) Wozniak, Michael (Samantha) Scott, Morgan (Joseph) Wysocki, 5 great-grandchildren, brother Timothy (Sheryl) Demont, and many nieces and nephews.

A viewing for Jerry will be held on Thursday, April 23rd from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and again on Friday, April 24th from 10:00am to 11:00am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am, all at Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad St., Riverton, NJ 08077.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
