Obituary

Glenn D. Jackson, 65, of Palmyra, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2026.

Born on June 18, 1961, in Toms River, New Jersey, Glenn was the son of the late Glenn W. and Camille (née Luizzi) Jackson.

For many years, Glenn worked as a tractor-trailer driver, a career that allowed him to enjoy his love of the open road and travel throughout the country. He especially loved driving through New England in the fall, taking in the beautiful autumn scenery.

An avid fisherman, Glenn found great enjoyment spending time down the Jersey Shore, particularly surf fishing. He was also an excellent checkers player, known for his quick wit, wonderful sense of humor, and easy laugh. A model train enthusiast, Glenn took great pride in the extensive collection of models he had lovingly assembled over the years.

Above all, Glenn will be remembered for his kind and generous spirit and his loving heart. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends. He had a special affection for animals and enjoyed sharing funny jokes and adorable animal videos with those he loved. He especially delighted in telling stories about his beloved rescue cat, appropriately named Happy.

Glenn had a way of bringing a smile to those around him, whether through a funny story, a thoughtful gesture, or simply his warm and easygoing nature. His kindness, laughter, and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn W. and Camille Jackson.

He is survived by his brother, Ronald W. Jackson of Palmyra; his sister, Karen (John) Wigmore of Delran; his niece, Sharon Jackson of Philadelphia; his nephew, Ronald D. Jackson of Voorhees ; numerous cousins; his longtime friend Joan; and his dear friends Jimmy, Rick, Joann and Mike.
