Gordon D. King of New Egypt passed away peacefully at home on April 5 ^th , he was 67.

Gordon was born in Riverside, NJ to the late, Thalberg and Jeanette King and grew up in Riverton, NJ. He was a graduate of Palmyra High School and Rider University.

In his youth, Gordon excelled at swimming and was a New Jersey State Champion in high school. He swam for the University of Miami and Rider University swim teams where he set several individual and relay records. Later, he coached for Jersey Wahoos and The Dolphins, of Seaside, CA.

In his spare time, Gordon had a passion for exploring and photographing the New Jersey and California coastlines. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandchildren, cycling with his friends and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

Gordon is survived by his sons, Brian, Sean (Devon), and their mother, Barbara, grandchildren, Brenton, Ryland, Wren, Phoebe and his brother, Gary (Deanne.) He was predeceased by his brother Wayne.

Services for Gordon will be held at a later date.
