Helen M. Sidelko (nee Kovalick), passed on November 6, 2018.
Born in Swoyersville, PA in 1922, Helen went to school in Dallas, PA where she grew up on her parents' farm with 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Helen worked as a seamstress during WWII at the local United Pants Factory, sewing uniforms for our brave soldiers. During this time she met and married Daniel Sidelko, an Air Force airplane mechanic on B29's. Her youngest brother, Johnny, died in Nomeny, France serving during this conflict.
At wars end Helen and her husband Dan, now a Master Sergeant, moved to Palmyra, NJ. Dan then became a Contract Administrator for the Defense Department in Phila. Helen was a homemaker, raising son Daniel and 3 daughters, Karen and a set of twins Marian and Madelyn. She enjoyed cooking, cultivating her plants and was an avid bear collector.
Helen was predeceased by her son, husband and all seven siblings. She is survived by her three daughters, and son in law John King, numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM with a Funeral Service at 12:30 PM at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077. Interment will follow at St Peter's Cemetery, Bridgeboro Rd., Riverside, NJ.
