Howard W. Johnson, "Bill", age 96, long term resident of Riverton, NJ died peacefully on December 1st, 2023 at his home.  He was married to his high school sweetheart, Muriel, for 72 years before she passed in 2021.

Bill was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of The Free & Accepted Masons, Beverly-Riverside Lodge #107, an active member of Central Baptist Church, Palmyra for many years and a salesman for Linden Meyer Paper Company for 43 years until his retirement in 1993.

Bill is survived by his three daughters, Nancy Manning (Steve), Donna Rendfrey (Russell) and Gail Mohnacs (Bill). He was a proud Grandfather to Lauren, Ryan, Brandon, Ken, Ashley, Dana and Dan, and also his eleven Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, nieces and nephews and their families.

Bill was lovingly known to many in his long happy life and will be missed by all that had the honor of knowing him.  He was the last of his generation.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM followed by his Funeral Service including a Masonic Service and Military Honors at 11:00 AM all at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077. Interment will be held at a later date at the Brigadier General W.C. Doyle New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
