Irene Ochs Remphrey died October 1, 2018 after a long battle with melanoma. She was 82.

She was the wife of Willard James Remphrey, Jr., and the mother of Karen Cameron (William) of Sellersville, PA. and Kevin Remphrey (Candice) of Sellersville, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Allison, Adam, Jessica, and Jillian.

Irene was a member of Doylestown Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School with her husband for many years and also worked on the committee for Aid For Friends. She was a member of VIA at Doylestown Hospital where she served as treasurer of the Veteran's Committee. She spent many years on the board of the Doylestown Athletic Association.

Irene was born in Camden, NJ. She graduated from Moorestown Friends School in 1954 and Cedar Crest College in 1958 with a degree in mathematics. She taught for 10 years at Haddon Heights Middle School in New Jersey.
