James N. Marianni

9-22-40 to 2-8-21

Beloved son of Nicholas and Rickina Marianni, survived by his beautiful bride Nancy, daughters Deborah, Lisa, Sherry, and son Morton, siblings Geraldine, Kathryn, and Joseph, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Known as James to some, Jim to others, or later in life as Jimmy Bling, he was a devoted son, brother, father, mentor, and friend.  A patriotic Army Reservist, he once said he loved serving so much that he could have stayed in the Army forever.  But fate intervened and his responsibility to family called.  Taking over the family business he worked long hours and built many relationships along the way.  His love of cars and trucks was evident in his professional and personal life.  He took great pleasure in adding bling to the family cars and trucks.  Racing with the likes of Mario Andretti, he was fearless, and loved to go fast.  This passion for speed soon encompassed boats, which became a favorite pastime.  He absolutely loved his time on the water, sunglasses on, wind in his hair.

He had a special knack for storytelling and could keep a crowd entertained for hours with his colorful renditions of his adventures in life.  If you were important to him, he gave you a nickname.  He enjoyed connecting with people and loved connecting with family.  A devoted family man and provider, he made sure that those closest to him had what they needed.  He enjoyed helping his family with gifts, stories, and his own special words of advice.

Charismatic, loving, kind, patriotic, generous, and brave is how he lived his life and how he will be remembered.  He worked hard and he played hard.  He was ready to leave this world.  Brave and loving to the end.
