James J. O'Brien, age 91, of Riverton, NJ passed peacefully on December 31, 2020.

Born in Philadelphia, Jim was a longtime resident of Riverton, NJ. He was a graduate of Cornell University, 1952, where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Engineering. He served proudly in the US Navy during the Korean War.  He was a licensed engineer in several states including New Jersey and Pennsylvania and the founder of the nationally renowned construction consulting firm, O'Brien-Kreitzberg & Associates, Inc. Jim was the author of 12 text books on various construction management topics.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Rita O'Brien (nee Gibson), Jim is survived by; his loving children, Jessica Snyder (Marc), Michael O'Brien (Victoria) and David O'Brien (Pamela); his dear grandchildren, Rebecca Evanitsky (Matthew), Sean O'Brien, Jordan Pelikan (Robert) and Emma O'Brien. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Brayden Evanitsky and Kendal Pelikan.
