James Matthew Wilson, age 82 of Delran, NJ passed away peacefully from complications from bladder cancer at his home on Aug 7 ^th , 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

Jim was born on April 29, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of the late, Jennie (nee Eksterowicz) and Charles Wilson.  He was a proud 1958 graduate of North Catholic High School in Philadelphia and attended Temple University.

Jim was a Vietnam Veteran, serving 6 years as a Sergeant as a Green Beret.  He was a member of Teamsters Local 107 as a business agent.  He was a retired State Trooper and retired from the US Postal Service in 2018 after 34 years.  Jim was the owner of Show Time Van Service, a Mummer and played accordion with the Polish American String Band.  He spent many seasons working security for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Elvina A. (nee Marsilii), son, Anthony of Sewell, NJ; step-children, Grey C. (Pamela) Baker, Madeline J Rodgers of Wilmington, DE; his dearly loved grandchildren, Lauren, Grey Skylar (Colleen), Garrett Baker, Ellie Grace Rogers, Jackson Rogers; great-grandchildren, the late Grey Branson Baker, Kaylee Baker, Graham Branson Baker; and two brothers, the late Charles and Thomas and many nieces and nephews.

A viewing for Jim will be held on Saturday, Aug 13 ^th from 9:00am to 11:00am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am, all at Sacred Heart Church, 4 ^th and Linden Ave, Riverton, NJ 08077.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
