Janet C. Dougherty of Cape May Courthouse passed away peacefully on May10th, she was 77.

Janet was born in Philadelphia to the late Vincent and Ruth Carlis. She was a member of Oklahoma City AT&T Rally for the Children, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 198, Friendship Bible Coffee, Monday Bible Study, CMCH Red Hat Ladies Fundraiser and the Cape MAy County Christian Women's Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Dougherty, sister, Mary Ruth Carlis Bannon, and brother, John Vincent Carlis.  Janet is survived by her sister, Nancy Carlis Myers and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Janet's life will be held on Tuesday, May 18 ^th at 1:00pm at the Riverton Country Club, 1416 Highland Ave, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077.
