Jean D. Colmary passed away suddenly on the morning of September 4th, 2018.

She was born in August 1941 in Butler Township/Schuylkill County and was married to her late husband Gordon C. Colmary for 53 years. Jean lived in Willingboro, NJ with her husband Gordon until moving to Delran, NJ in June of 2015.

Jean is survived by; her siblings, Bob (Kathy), Richard (Vivian), Cathy (Ed); her children Cheryl (Kim), Brian (Cindy), Kevin (Tabitha); her 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Jean started her working career in the banking industry until beginning her family. While devoting herself to raising her children she took the initiative to assist other parents with childcare. Those children grew to become family to her and would lovingly refer to her as "Aunt Jean". Later she owned her own store known as "Desert Flower Card and Gift Shop", in Riverton, NJ.

She faithfully visited Eagle Camp in South Hero, VT with her husband Gordon for 50 years. Jean was very active in the St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Willingboro, NJ. There she served as the UMW president, as well as other committees, including the Youth Pioneers Club, until joining Epworth United Methodist Church in Palmyra, NJ in 1986.

Family and friends are invited to join the family for her Memorial Service at 11:30 AM on Monday, September 10th, 2018 at Epworth United Methodist Church, 501 Morgan Avenue, Palmyra, NJ to celebrate Jean's life. The burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to the Epworth United Methodist Church Living Trust of Palmyra for the Gordon Colmary Endowment, the mailing address is 501 Morgan Avenue, Palmyra, NJ 08065.
