Jo Ann (Burzycki) McKay of Riverton, NJ, passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones on October 13, 2022. She was 70.

Jo Ann is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Norman Coone, her sister, Ann Marie (Edward) Coyle, her daughters, Jenny (Stephen) Ferroni and Laura (Matthew) Spataro. She was a loving Nonna to Lucca, Angelina, Nicholas, Lilly and Jade. Jo Ann is predeceased by her mother and father Teresa and Joseph Burzycki. Jo Ann was born in Philadelphia, PA and was a graduate of St. Huberts High School.

Jo Ann enjoyed the simple things in life like cooking, dancing and weekends at the beach. She loved to entertain; hosting dinners, holidays, parties and family reunions.

Jo Ann lived in Riverton, NJ most of her adult life along with her mother and sister. She found joy in spending time with her daughters, Jenny and Laura. The three of them had an unbreakable bond which was clear to everyone around them.

Jo Ann met the love of her life, Norm in 2011. Together they traveled, shopped and enjoyed many weekends in Sea Isle City. While in Riverton, they enjoyed family time at the pool and gardening. Norm carried out Jo Ann's visions in creating beautiful landscapes and designs.

A proud Nonna, Jo Ann loved reading all the books in the house to Lilly and Jade. She enjoyed watching movies with Angelina, hearing Nicholas tell jokes and reveling in Lucca's accomplishments.

Jo Ann was a dedicated friend. Her kindness and compassion was evident in her friendships, which would span 6 plus decades. Jo Ann made lifelong friends and memories while creating her association management business. Though she retired in 2017, her legacy will live on for many years to come.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday evening, October 20th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad St., Riverton, NJ 08077 ( 856-829-2700 ). There will be a viewing on Friday, October 21st from 9:45 AM - 10:45 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 4th and Linden Ave., Riverton (103 Fourth St, Riverton, NJ 08077) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.  Internment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jo Ann's memory may be made to her favorite place on earth, Acadia National Park via Friends of Acadia . Additionally, donations could be made to JDRF . JDRF's mission is to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes and its complications through the support of research.
