Dr. John was a chiropractor for 43 Years practicing in the Rhawnhurst section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Palmer College of chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He was also a DOT medical examiner for the Federal Motor Carriers Association performing physicals for commercial and non-commercial truck drivers. He truly loved his work, caring for all of his patients. That really helped him forget about his suffering as it kept him going up until the week before he passed. John loved his Lord and Savior and wanted to serve as long as he possibly could. John was a lector at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. John also loved playing the banjo and was a mummer for the Crean String Band. Family was most important to him. He loved his children, stepchildren and grand children more than anything and would always go out of his way to help them whenever they needed it. Even when they didn't need his help, he was there for them. He also loved spending quality time playing with his grandchildren, they were the apple of his eye.

Along with his parents John Sr. and Elsie, John was also preceded in death by his brother Joseph.

John is survived by his loving wife Christine (Bazzano), his children, John A. Izzo, Gina Izzo, Maria Izzo, his stepdaughters, Brittany Trauger (Patrick), Andria Zimmerman (Colin), his beautiful grandchildren, Kevin, Karly, John Paul, Vienna and Ryan, his sister Patricia Hosey (Jack), his nephews Nathan, Jackie, Joseph, various Aunts, Uncles and cousins and family friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, June 20 ^th at 11am at Sacred Heart Church, 4 ^th & Linden Ave., Riverton, NJ.   The family will be available to greet guests starting at 9:30am
