Joe was born in Philadelphia and raised his family in Palmyra with his late wife of 51 years, Karen.

After graduating from North Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Joe built his career at ITE/Gould, RCA, GE, the Courier-Post, and Boscov's department store. A lifelong soccer fan, Joe coached both boys and girls youth soccer teams in the 70s and 80s. During his later years, he enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow; becoming a fixture in the stands at their softball, baseball, and soccer games.
Joe made friends everywhere he went. For his customers, colleagues, and neighbors Joe always had a ready smile and a corny joke. He was excellent listener and could talk to anyone about anything.

Joseph is survived by his four children, Mike, Mark (Asha), Wendy, Lori and five grandchildren, Courtney, Morgan, Eva, Liam and Edwin. He also leaves behind his brother Francis (Cathy).
