Joseph T. Vanak of Riverton passed away May 23 ^rd at the age of 90.   Joe was a 60-year resident and active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Riverton.  He proudly served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War.

"Papa Joe" had a love of family and sports.  He was a baseball and basketball referee for a number of years at the high school and college level. He retired as a manager from Kraft Foods.

Joe was preceded in death by the love of his life, wife Julie Ann (Jacowicz) and his 3 siblings, Martha, John, and Bernadette.  He is survived by sons, Thomas (Joanne) and Timothy (Donna), 6 loving grandchildren, Jill, Jeff, John, Timothy, Kelly and Jillian, 5 great-grandchildren and loving nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 17 ^th at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Church, 4 ^th & Linden Ave., Riverton, NJ 08077.  Interment will be held privately in Summit Hill, PA.
