Jourdan Ismeal Wakefield Mottley passed away on December 1, 2023 at age 25.
Jourdan was born in New York, NY on July 10, 1998 to Felix Mottley and Pamela Wakefield. He spent his early years in Brooklyn, New York, Union, New Jersey and Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey. He also lived in Las Vegas for three years before relocating with his family to Houston Texas in 2008, where he graduated from Cypress Ranch High School, in Cypress Texas - class of 2016.
He wrestled in High School for 4 years, becoming District Champion three times, and regional runner up twice and qualifying for State. He later attended Blinn University and Texas Southern University where he pursued an undergraduate degree in Marketing. Jourdan relocated to Cherry Hill, New Jersey in January 2023 giving him an opportunity to be closer to his father's side of the family. Jourdan's passion was family and wrestling and being a wrestling coach fulfilled his love of both. He adored working with children and loved his Spazz Wrestling family. Jourdan also spent the last 3 years in the pool industry as a sales associate and also worked as a pool technician.
Jourdan is survived by his parents, Felix Mottley and Pamela Wakefield, his beloved sister, Olivia Mottley, dog, Harmony and many loving aunts, uncles cousins, and friends from Texas to New Jersey.
A viewing for Jourdan will take place on Monday, December 11th at Weber Funeral Home 112 Broad St., Riverton, NJ 08077 from 1:00 pm to 2:00pm and a memorial service for Jourdan will be held at 3:00 pm at Hope Cathedral - 46 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson, NJ 08527

Jourdan will be tremendously missed in this physical realm, but we know that to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord.
