Nov 12, 1941 — Feb 6, 2024
Joyce Morozin, age 82, of Palmyra, NJ and formerly of Philadelphia passed suddenly on February 6, 2024.
Joyce was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 12, 1941 to the late Mary (nee' Wardwell) and George Mumper. She graduated from Lincoln High School and remained a lifelong resident of Philadelphia until moving to Palmyra in recent years.
Since moving to Palmyra, she became a very active and involved member of Christ Episcopal Church, Riverton where she volunteered much of her time in service to the church and their programs to support local seniors, area soup kitchens and food pantries. Joyce was an animal lover, especially dogs and cats, and knew every dog and their owners in her neighborhood, making a point to say hello on their regular walks. She would also regularly pet sit and care for her neighbors' dogs and cats, and her grand dog. Joyce was an avid and voracious reader who enjoyed all types of books. Most of all she loved being with her family and friends.
Joyce was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Joseph Morozin, and is survived by her loving daughter, Debbie Barlow (Karen Mount), her stepchildren, Nancy Morozin (Steve), Joseph Morozin, Jr. (Carol), and Judith McCormick (James). She is also survived by her dear grandchildren, James, Elizabeth, Macy and Joseph, and by her best friend and cousin, Judy Lewis, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
