Kathryn E.
Giovanetti
Sep 22, 1964 — Nov 10, 2023
Kathryn E. Giovanetti (nee Bergman), age 59, of Audubon, NJ, passed suddenly on November 10, 2023 following a brief illness.
Kathryn was born to the late Nora (nee Hansen) and Charles Bergman in Mays Landing, NJ. Her family later moved to Cinnaminson, NJ where she graduated from Cinnaminson High School and met her husband, Barry Giovanetti. Together, they lived in Cinnaminson for several years before moving to Audubon, NJ where they raised their family. Kathryn spent most of her career in the food service industry working mostly as a server and bartender, including at Riverton Country Club where she worked for many years.
Kathryn was a gourmet chef who loved to cook fantastic meals and bake, especially cookies. She loved being at the beach, out on the ocean, and enjoyed all types of seafood, especially crab legs. She was lovingly called "Chatty Kathy" because she was always talking with people and could easily make friends. Kathryn had a deep love for animals, singing along to Disco and 80's pop music, was a huge Philly sports fan who loved the Phillies and Eagles, but most of all she was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and family.
Predeceased earlier this year by her beloved husband of 31 years, Barry Giovanetti, Kathryn is survived by her loving children, Barry Giovanetti, Jr. and his fiancé Kim Cassidy, Nora L. Giovanetti and Nicholas J. Giovanetti, and by her dear grandchildren, Barry Giovanetti, III and Lillian Callahan. She is also survived by her siblings, Donna Harrah and her husband, Charles, Steve Bergman and his wife Samantha, and Charles Bergman, Jr. Additionally, she is survived by her late husband's siblings, Peggy Cooper, Samuel Giovanetti and his wife, Patricia, and Steve Giovanetti; and was also predeceased her sister-in-law, Gale Altman. She also leaves behind many friends and extended family members.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM followed by her Memorial Service at 11:30 AM all at the Weber Funeral Home, 112 Broad Street, Riverton, NJ 08077. Burial will follow the service at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
